Overnight oats in a jam jar

Overnight Oats With Leftover Baby Food

Do you feed your baby fruit purees and find that you are left with lots of leftover?  Why not make overnight oats with leftover baby food!
Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 2 serves
Course: Breakfast
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 100 g baby food fruit puree

Method

  1. Choose a medium-sized jar or two small jam jars to make your overnight oats in.  I’m using two jam jars.
  2. Add all the ingredients into your jars, and stir well.
  3. Place the lid on the jars and refrigerate for at least two hours, or as its name suggests, overnight.
  4. Toppings can be added the night before or immediately before serving.
  5. Eat your overnight oats cold or warm.  To eat it cold, take it out of the fridge and enjoy immediately.  However, if you would like to eat your overnight oats cold, warm it up in the microwave for about 2 minutes, and enjoy.
