Growing up, although in Singapore, I was exposed to lots of British food. My mum would cook lots of British recipes and my parents would take us out to British restaurants. (They studied in the UK for a few years, and naturally brought their love of British food back to Singapore with them.)
In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with the classic fish and chips or a hearty Sunday roast. But my ultimate favourite would be afternoon tea (or high tea).
